The Production and Operations Management Society announces the 2nd World POM Conference on POM and 15th annual POM Conference. The dates for this joint conference are April 30 through May 3, 2004. For this major Operations Management Conference the site selection committee has chosen Cancun, Mexico. |

The 1st World Conference on POM was chaired and organized by Jose A.D. Machuca in Sevilla, Spain. At that most successful conference, Bob Hayes (POMS), Chris Voss (EurOMA) and Masanori Kodama (JSPM) signed one of the old barrels at the sherry wineries in Jerez to sanction the mutual committement for celebrating new World Conferences on POM every four years. |
