Mission Statement
The College of Supply Chain Management is a special interest group of POMS that seeks to create a community for researchers in supply chain management. The college embraces the full spectrum of research paradigms including modeling, empirical and field-based work and facilitates close interaction between academics and practitioners through focused conferences.
Past Events
The POMS College of Supply Chain Management held an exciting conference
in May, 2007 that focused on supply chain issues in emerging markets. Check out
the conference wiki, which we have updated with more content from the
conference, videos, lots of photos, the winning student papers, and
more: http://supplychain.wetpaint.com
Feel free to add comments or post other material. The wiki is available
to the entire POMS community as a resource on supply chain issues in
emerging markets.
The first CSCM conference was organized at Chicago Business School on May 3, 2005. The theme of the conference was Improving Supply Chain Synchronization and Strategy through Industry-Academia Collaboration, and it brought together 120 academics and practitioners.
